Christmas Is Up!

So I am finally done decorating. Well I guess it's been done for a week I just barely got around to taking pictures. But I am soo glad it's done. I love getting it all out but then about half way through I get so tired of it! The kids love it though and decorating the tree this year with the kids was so fun!
So this is the bottom half of the tree
And this is the top half

Decor on cabinets (pain)
These are some new things I got to go in the tree this year!

It's been a while! Crazy life. Sick kids, sister's accident and holidays! But enjoying the finished and furnished basement! Sad to say I have not played ping pong or pool but as soon as the tree is decorated and Christmas decor is up I am going to kick Cody's butt a few times! Glad to say my sister is recovering! Getting around pretty good too I might add. I bet she is walking on her own by Christmas. Love ya Rei! Trying to get Christmas shopping underway but man it's hard to go out in this freezing weather, but every time I get an ad in the mail I want to get that sale price! So I will bundle up and go! Wish me luck.I just hope I find everything I'm looking for and fast so I can get to wrapping and relaxing (or trying to anyway). Happy Holidays!

It's Done It's Done It's Done

The basement is finally finished and I can't even tell you how excited I am. I have just been walking around down here on this wonderfully padded new carpet for like the last hour. I LOVE IT!! So thanks honey for all your hard work and many late nights. Without you we wouldn't have this marvelous new addition. And its nice to know your now an electrician, tile layer, door hanger, closet maker and finish work guy. Who could ask for anything more! So thanks love you to pieces!! Can't wait til we get furniture tomorrow.

Halloween

East's first preschool Halloween party was so much fun even though he didn't sing a word of any of the cute Halloween songs. He later told me it was because he was too shy and all those people were looking at him haha! I love him! He was the cutest Buzz Lightyear though and Eryn got to come and dress up too. She was the cutest Nemo or Memo! That's what she calls him. They had a fun time and got to trick or treat a little. And here are some pictures of our super fun Halloween party. We had a 50's theme party and played some way fun games! Thanks to everyone for being great sports! It was so much fun, and the food/treats were delicious!! Can't wait to see what the theme will be next year.
Ready to go to preschool party!

Pumpkins!

So wonderful chili with bread sticks and a yummy dessert couldn't be paired more wonderfully with anything else then carving pumpkins! It was so much fun. Even though everyone complains about it and hates the mess it always turns out to be such a fun time. So yay for pumpkin carving and yummy food!!

Field Trips

So yesterday we had a field trip day with Easton's preschool. We went to the Fire Station and the wonderful, fabulous Library. I say that because it is Easton's most favorite place on earth. Or maybe close second behind Dinosaur park. We had such a good time at the fire station and they really taught the kids a lot. How to crawl on the floor when there is a fire and to not be afraid of the firemen in their suits because they kind of look like aliens! And how to stop, drop, and roll! It was so cute to see all the kids practicing. They really had a good time. Then came time for the library. We went on a little tour and got to sit and listen to a few fun stories, then were able to look around and check out books if we wanted. Oh and Easton wanted!! Everyone in his class had long gone home but we were there trying to decide on two books out of the twenty or so he had picked. An hour later he had made his choice (while Eryn had been rolling all around the lobby floor, practicing her stop drop and roll). It was a LONG day and I will definitely plan for the library next time. Or I mean plan an entire day for the library for East! I really do love that he loves books so much and is interested in everything from whales to dragons and dinosaurs. I learn a lot too so it's so fun. I see plenty more library dates in the future with my little reading buddy!! Love you East!
Loves the fire truck!
