The week

So Monday started out with East having show and tell for the letter "G", and for those of you who don't know, East loves to play his guitar and rock out. Well I wish I had pictures of him trying to stuff that guitar into his back pack. Oh it was hilarious! But he had to find out for him self that it would not fit. Needless to say he ending up taking his batting gloves after he ran up and down the hall with them on a few times then said "ya these will be good". I'm just glad he figured things out on his own. Wow he is just like his MOM! Then Wednesday was Easton's Birthday. He turned "4"! He picked out Buzzlightyear plates, napkins, wrapping paper and a tablecloth. It really was so cute and dad got a way cool bundle of Buzz balloons for a centerpiece. I had it all decorated for him by the time he got home from preschool, and he LOVED it! It was just the waiting til 7:00 that was the hardest part. Over all the party was a success. He got everything he had wanted and plays with his dinosaur train things everyday! So thanks fam for a great day! I will post pictures soon. And I finally finished redecorating Easton's room. My wonderful mom fixed his curtain valance and I am hanging it tonight! I will get pictures of it up too! I'm so excited. It finally looks like a big boy room (now that he is four and all!). So let's just say hurray for Friday! I'm so glad the weekend is here and that we don't have much of anything going on. Just a little of this and that and maybe a good movie! Have a good one!

Dads Home!

So sick kids equal exhausted mommy especially when daddy is gone hunting! I am relieved to say he came home early! Not to a house full of happy laughing kids but to a house full of runny nosed, crying kids! Can you imagine how happy he was to be home! Nonetheless I am so happy he is home. I don't realize how much he actually helps me til he is gone and I am left to fend for myself. So I am so thankful for him and all of his help. Love you Cod, so glad your home! Oh and I'm glad you got an Elk. There I said it. In the mean time I have been trying to redecorate Easton's room and it is actually going pretty smooth. I say that because Cody and I always have problems with any sort of installation but everything thus far has been ok  I will post some pictures when I finally get done with it and when my sister shows me how to post pictures ha ha. Oh and East has a new friend at preschool named Colin. He was so excited to tell me about him. He said "Mom my friend at school has white hair and it shakes when he runs". I said "Oh wow buddy that is so cool" trying to figure out what he was meaning. So the next time I picked him up from school he was chasing this boy with white hair( really blonde hair) that shakes when he runs(old school mullet) and I just busted out laughing! When East got in the car I said is that Colin and he said ya see his white shaky hair! Oh it was the most funny thing ever. I'm just glad he said he wanted to keep his hair short. But I'm so thankful for friends and can't wait to hear all of his stories about them.
