She did it!!

I have been waiting for this day for a very long time. She would wake up a million times with a dry diaper which was a sign to start the potty training process (that's what I've been told anyway) so I would take her in to the bathroom and sit her on her little toilet and nothing. She would just cry and cry and not pee then I would put a diaper on her and 5 minutes later she would pee her brains out aahhh! It has been so frustrating. So today I went in to get her up and she was dry. I got the feeling today is going to be the day! So I took her in the bathroom and put her on her little toilet and went to get her some juice (I was going to flood her out). While I was pouring her juice I heard the wonderful sound of flowing urine!! I ran in the bathroom and said "Are you peeing" and she said "Ya I'm peeing". I just started jumping around and freaking out. I was so happy and wanted her to see how happy she made me by going on the toilet. It may have been a little much but I was trying to make it a big deal. She was such a big girl and got to put a sticker on her potty chart and got a big sucker. I was hoping for another success to make the day even better and yes she went again! I am so proud of her and hope we can keep this going. We have been changing diapers for over 4 years and would love to finally not have to for a while! Hooray for big girls!

Career Day

So today at Easton's preschool they had a career day and were supposed to dress up in something they would like to be when they grow up. So I asked East what do you want to be when you grow up? He said Spider man. I said that is not a career. He is a super hero. East said I know mom. So I said what job do you want to have when your big? He said oh I know a Paleontologist. Ya he knows how to say it correctly and everything! Blows my mind. So I asked what does a Paleontologist do? He said you know mom they find fossils and then put them in the museums. Well alright I said a Paleontologist it is and you can bet your bottom dollar he was the best looking 4 year old Paleontologist there ever was. So yay for 4 year olds who want to be things their mothers cannot even pronounce and for moms and grandmas who make awesome outfits with all the cool accessories.
